Daman Koh, the peak and viewpoint, is located in the heart of the Margalla Hills. The word Damankoh is a combination of two Persian words which when combined together mean: It is about 2400 meters above sea level and 500 meters above Islamabad.

Daman named the center and Mount Batukan. Daman Koh (in the middle of the hill) in the Margalla Hills north of Islamabad. It’s only a 15-20 minute drive from Islamabad, but once you reach there, you’ll feel like you’re deep in the jungle. Visitors can climb up to the middle of the hill and enjoy a visual view of Islamabad with the forest below.

Tourists of Islamabad always visit this place. Tourists go through this place to the high point of Pir Suhawa which is situated at an altitude of 3600 feet on top of the Margalla Hills. There is a chair lift connecting Daman Koh and Peer Sohawa.

The main attraction is the south view which offers a beautiful and magnificent view of Islamabad. Tourists are offered a magnificent view of the Faisal Mosque, Rawal Lake and the newly constructed Seventh Avenue in Islamabad. Telescopes are installed for keen observers. A large marker was placed with the original map of Islamabad.
