Why you need combination file?

Combination file is used for remove or bypass Factory Reset Protection, or Google Account protection and Google Account verification.

How to Flash Samsung Combination Firmware

FLASH INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Choose correct flash file(s).
  2. If you have PIT file chosen, then you must check “Repartition” option.
  3. Check flashing options if needed (Repartition, EFS clear, Boot update).
  4. Power on the phone in download mode (turn off phone, press vol.down + home + power).
  5. Connect the phone to PC with USB cable, install drivers if needed.
  6. Press “Flash” button. BACKUP INSTRUCTIONS: Phone must be rooted!
    If the software can’t root the phone automatically,
    then you must root your device manually. BE CAREFULL! IF YOU GET KNOX WARRANTY VOID STATUS DURING ROOT OR ANY OTHER PROCEDURE,
    THEN YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE UNLOCK THIS PHONE IN FUTURE!
  7. Power on the phone.
  8. Tap 7 times on “Build number” in “Settings”-“About phone” to enable “Developer options”,
    go to “Settings”-“Developer options” and enable “USB debugging”.
  9. Connect the phone to PC with USB cable, install drivers if needed.
  10. Select device in ADB settings.
  11. Press “Read EFS” button to read backup or “Write EFS” to restore.
  12. Press “Read Cert” button to read certificates or “Write Cert” to restore.
    (Note, that the cert file for this model is unique. You can write cert, wich is readed from this device exactly.)
  13. Press “Write NV DATA” if you need to restore NV backup. UNLOCK INSTRUCTIONS: Unlocking with original MSL code:
    Warning! Knox warranty must be active (0x00)!
    If you have it voided (0x01(void)), then you can’t unlock this phone with MSL.
  14. Phone must be powered on.
  15. Run dialer and type #0# (service mode will appear).
  16. Connect the phone to UART cable, choose correct COM port in port settings.
  17. Press “Unlock” button.
  18. Paste MSL code in new opened window and press “OK”. Reading codes using sever:
  19. Power on the phone.
  20. Tap 7 times on “Build number” in “Settings”-“About phone” to enable “Developer options”,
    go to “Settings”-“Developer options” and enable “USB debugging”.
  21. Connect the phone to PC with USB cable, install drivers if needed.
  22. Select device in ADB settings.
  23. Press “Read Codes via server” button, write your login and password in window if it will appear.
    (Login and password will be saved as default after first input and can be changed in settings.) To reset Google account activation lock:
  24. ADB must be activated in any way (you can flash sBoot from combination firmware,
    make sure, that you are not upgrade sBoot).
  25. Connect the phone to PC with USB cable, install drivers if needed.
  26. Select device in ADB settings.
  27. Press “Reset FRP” and follow the instructions in program.
  28. When process done, press “Back” on phone and perform factory reset from phone settings. To reset Google account activation or Samsung reactivation lock:
  29. Power on the phone in download mode (turn off phone, press vol.down + home + power).
  30. Connect the phone to PC with USB cable, install drivers if needed.
  31. Press “Reset FRP/React/EE” to deactivate Google/Samsung/EE account activation lock.
  32. After phone reboot, go to settings and perform factory reset. REPAIR INSTRUCTIONS:
  33. Power on the phone.
  34. Enable “USB debugging” in “Settings”-“Developer options”,
    tap 7 times on “Build number” in “Settings”-“About phone” to enable “Developer options”.
  35. Connect the phone to PC with USB cable, install drivers if needed.
  36. Select device in ADB settings.
  37. Press “Reboot to…” button and select mode to reboot (download or recovery).
